Gowrie Victoria is a well-regarded not for profit organisation that provides long day care and kindergarten at six sites across Melbourne.
We are currently recruiting for Full time & Casual Early Childhood Educators to work at our Yarraville Service. This is situated on the edge of the Cruickshank Park and Stoney Creek which is somewhere the Educators and children go on regular adventures. The service is a 158-place service operating nine rooms (6 weeks to 5 years) including an integrated funded kinder program.
Reporting to the Room Leader, you will contribute to the implementation of a high-quality early learning program by demonstrating initiative, completing tasks with minimal supervision and role modelling professional practice reflective of Gowrie Victoria’s purpose, philosophy, and values.
About You
- A Cert III or Diploma qualification in ECEC or equivalent
- Knowledge of the NQF and approved learning frameworks
- 12 months work experience in early childhood (preferred) in implementing programs that are inclusive and respond to the interests, strengths and learning needs of individual children
- An ability to articulate your role as an Early Childhood Educator in line with the EYLF Belonging, Being and Becoming
- An ability to work effectively in a team and engage in critical reflection
