About the Centre/Service
Future Super Stars ELC Epping is a boutique Early Learning Centre located on the campus of Melbourne Polytechnic in Epping, Melbourne. We are a small, 38 place long day care service with a 3 - 5 year old kinder room. As of 2022, we will be offering 3 and 4 year old funded kinder programs for a small group size of 20 children each day. Being a small centre, we pride ourselves on being able to build close, meaningful relationships with all of our families. We strive to deliver a fun and engaging play based educational program for all children that is individual for each child. We promote children’s independence by encouraging self help skills, we include risky play learning experiences such as our tree climb, as well as providing sensory learning experiences playing with water and sand. Our working traffic light is a fantastic addition to our outdoor learning environment. It allows educators to embed road safety into our educational program and this learning is reinforced when we venture out with the children for walks to the post box, the local park and the campus community garden.
The successful candidate will be working collaboratively with a team of friendly educators and supportive management in a well resourced centre.

Description
As well as having a Bachelor qualification and previous experience delivering a high quality kindergarten program for 3 to 5 year old children, the successful candidate will:
Have strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
Have strong knowledge of the planning cycle
Demonstrate strong documentation skills
Demonstrate a passion for early childhood education
Engage in critical thinking and critical reflection
Have the ability to build warm, collaborative relationships with children, families and educators
Have VIT registration
An Early Childhood Teacher that is self-motivated and committed to professional practice will be the ideal candidate to join our fantastic team of warm and friendly educators.
Qualifications
A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
VIT registration
Current CPR and first aid
