About the Centre/Service Our community based center provides high quality education and care for children aged 3-6 years in a stimulating indoor and leafy green outdoor learning environments. Description East Brunswick Kindergarten and Childcare Center is seeking a dedicated and creative early childhood Degree or Bachelor qualified Teacher to join our professional and experienced team to teach in our 3 year old kindergarten group. The position is in our Pobblebonk room which is an integrated kindergarten room. The start date is the 28th of January 2022. The position is 22.5 hours per week position over 3 days as follows, Teaching days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday – 8:30-1:30. Planning and program support: 7.5 hours per week. The successful applicant will be valued for their contribution to center practices, philosophy and educational programs in a supportive working environment. Essential criteria include: • Bachelor or Degree qualified teacher • Current First Aid Certificate • Current VIT • A commitment to continuous learning, best practice and achieving high quality service delivery and a sound knowledge of the National and Victorian Early Years Frameworks • Strong written and verbal communication and organisational skills • Ability to build positive relationships with families, children and colleagues • Be able to work effectively in a team • Commitment to Child Safe policy If you are passionate about your career in Early Childhood and truly enjoy working and building relationships with young children, we would love to hear from you.
