- To plan, build, deliver and reflect upon a vibrant curriculum within the NQS/ EYLF/ MTOP and planning cycle frameworks that ensures the development of each child
- Assess the needs of each child, monitor their progress and ensure their school readiness
- Effectively communicate with parents so that a collaborative relationship is nurtured
- Work closely with the Director, Assistant Director, Support Educators and other team members to build positive relationships with children and families
- Support, supervise and coach educators to deepen their understanding of the curriculum and embed a culture of ongoing reflective practice
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the team, families, children and the wider community
- Manage the kindergarten and SIP funding process
- Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA.
- Previous experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, with demonstrated experience in implementing the VEYLDF, EYLF, MTOP and NQS
- First aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate.
- Victorian Institute of Teaching registration (VIT).
- A passion and enthusiasm for creating educational, interesting and inviting play spaces, linking to the curriculum.
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Knowledge of KIMS and IDFM preferred but not essential
