Kindoo! is seeking a Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader to join our highly regarded and vibrant, growing centre in Ferntree Gully.This permanent full-time role (to be worked across 5 days per week) offers a talented and passionate Early Childhood Teacher the opportunity to grow and develop our combined 3-4 yo kindergarten program and lead the educational team.Working closely with our passionate Team, you will inspire children's thinking and learning and make a difference in the lives of young children every time you come to work. Your naturally warm and positive personality will help you to build and maintain caring and collaborative relationships not only with the children and their families but also your fellow educators. You will have lots of autonomy to create, inspire and lead so taking the reigns will come naturally to you. As a senior member of our organization, you will have both the authority, and the support of management, to plan, create, culture and nurture a program that is truly yours.As a Kindergarten Teacher and Educational Leader with Kindoo! your key priorities will be to:

• To plan, build, deliver and reflect upon a vibrant curriculum within the NQS/ EYLF/ MTOP and planning cycle frameworks that ensures the development of each child
• Assess the needs of each child, monitor their progress and ensure their school readiness
• Effectively communicate with parents so that a collaborative relationship is nurtured
• Work closely with the Director, Assistant Director, Support Educators and other team members to build positive relationships with children and families
• Support, supervise and coach educators to deepen their understanding of the curriculum and embed a culture of ongoing reflective practice
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the team, families, children and the wider community
• Manage the kindergarten and SIP funding process

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA.
• Previous experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, with demonstrated experience in implementing the VEYLDF, EYLF, MTOP and NQS
• First aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate.
• Victorian Institute of Teaching registration (VIT).
• A passion and enthusiasm for creating educational, interesting and inviting play spaces, linking to the curriculum.
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Knowledge of KIMS and IDFM preferred but not essential
