Work Days of the Role Monday - Friday
Hours of Work of the Role 8.30am - 1.30pm (5 hours)
Description The successful candidate will be responsible for the room management, including the children, program, staff, safety and environment. To ensure a high quality service is consistently maintained in all areas and aspects of the Service. They will act as a positive role model, to be an active team member, conveying respect and guidance to other colleagues and have strong interpersonal communication skills. The applicant should:
  • High level of passion for the industry
  • Ability to work closely with management and peers
  • Demonstrated effective staff leadership
  • Speak English language fluently
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Education in Early Education
  • Experience in the role of Early Childhood Teacher

Additional Requirements Competencies & Capabilities: • Ensure the safety, security and well-being of all children at our Service • National Standards, including the NQF are met and exceeded • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework • Maintain the procedures, policies and practices in the Centre • Communicate these documents to parents, colleagues, casuals and volunteers • Regularly review and update documents in consultation with other professionals, staff and parent
