About the Centre/Service Co-located with Deanside Primary School our vibrant, state of the art kindergarten provides inclusive, high-quality, play-based preschool programs for three and four year old children in Deanside and surrounds. Work Days of the Role Session Times: Mon, Wed, Fri - 8.30 am to 1.30 pm
Hours of Work of the Role 22.5 hours per week
Description

We want to meet you:

  • Is Deanside a good location for you?
  • Are you an experienced Early Childhood Teacher
  • Would you like the challenge of stepping up to lead the team and pedagogy as Acting Nominated Supervisor and Education Leader for Term 3 and 4 (with an extra 3 hours per week)
  • Do you want to make a vital contribution to the community?
  • Do people describe you as child-centred, positive and energetic?

  • Teach the 4 yo session
  • Mon, Wed and Fri :  8:30 am to 1:30 pm session times
  • Above award hours for 2022 to cover your acting leadership & administration duties
  • Ongoing position with 22.5 hours per week, plus acting Nom Sup and Ed Leader hours of 3 hours per week for 2022
  • Start asap
  • Our current Nominated Supervisor has stepped up to an Acting Area Manager role, and will be available to support you

  • Proficiency in early years’ education and team leadership
  • Reputation or ambition as a positive manager of people
  • Experience in progressing collaborative partnerships with parents, community and local schools
  • Energy, positivity and great working relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • VIT registration
