Description Join our team and contribute to developing our culture of learning. Full time and part time positions for registered and pre-service Early Childhood Teachers available now. We pride ourselves on providing excellent programs for children, and support and acknowledgement for families. To do this we need exceptional teachers who also strive to achieve these goals. Learn and grow with us. We are passionate about lifelong learning and approach our work with a learning mindset. Our Early Childhood Teacher Leader will work closely with each of our Early Childhood Teachers, and support them to succeed in their role, including support to complete VIT full registration where necessary. Our support program for Early Childhood Teachers is unique to the sector, and builds on the mentoring program delivered by the Department of Education and Training. Our program provides hands-on support and guidance during teaching time and non-teaching time, so that Imagination Garden Early Childhood Teachers will be better placed to succeed in delivering the programs they studied at university. In addition to the Early Childhood Teacher Leader, Sue Down (owner and operator) will provide one-on-one mentoring and support for teachers at Imagination Garden. Sue is a former lecturer in Deakin University's early childhood teaching programs. To work at Imagination Garden is to be committed to joining us on our learning journey. If you believe you can make a difference to the lives of children and families at our service, we want to hear from you. Make sure you include a cover letter with your application so you can tell us why you are the right person to join our team. The way we work Our staff roster is designed to provide consistency, which is an important foundation for positive relationships between staff, children and families. Our Early Childhood Teachers are employed for 7.6 hours per day. This includes 5.1 hours ‘teaching time’ and 2.5 hours ‘non-teaching time’.
