  About us Our Family and Children’s Centres provide high quality childcare, kindergarten programs and Maternal and Child Health services. The Centres are purpose built, state of the art facilities which provide a vibrant and welcoming environment.   The role We currently have a permanent full time Educational Leader opportunity within the Childcare Program at Parkdale Family and Children’s Centre. This is a primarily non-contact role. Reporting to the Centre Coordinator, your role is to:
  • Lead the Early Years Education team to deliver a high quality Educational program which is tailored to the children’s individual interests.
  • Contribute to the development and ongoing implementation and review of the centres Quality Improvement Plan.
  • Support the staff to ensure a high level of health and safety standards are maintained at all times
About you You will be an engaging and inspiring leader, who works in a collaborative partnership with the Early Years Educators and leadership team to provide a high quality Early Years program. The ideal candidate will have:
  • A strong passion for delivering high quality, innovative programs in early childhood
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • Experience in delivering high quality educational programs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements include:
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood (0-8) or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years early childhood experience;
  • Current Level 2 First Aid with current CPR;
  • First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis;
  • Child Protection;
  • Working with Children’s Check;
  • First Aid Management of Asthma (Desirable).
Qualifications Requirements include:
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood (0-8) or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years early childhood experience;
  • Current Level 2 First Aid with current CPR;

  • Child Protection;
  • Working with Children’s Check;
