About the Centre/Service
We are a volunteer committee run kindergarten, servicing the community for over 50 years. We are seeking a Certificate III to join our team in the Rubies four-year-old group supporting our existing experienced Early Childhood Teacher and Co-Educator. Our philosophy supports all children to learn through play, children learn through first-hand experiences that are relevant to them and should be active and creative explorers; not afraid to try out their ideas and think their thoughts. We use a combination of intentional teaching and child and family-initiated programming linked to the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and Early Years Learning Framework to guide children toward independence, higher self-esteem and confidence, persistence, empathy, respect and dignity for themselves and others.

20.75 per week: consisting of 15 hours contact time and 5.75 hours non-contact time
Description
Seeking an experienced Certificate III qualified educator who has a strong understanding of Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework, to work within an existing established team focused on four year old sessional kindergarten.
Must be a strong team player, flexible and always willing to learn, with a desire to bring your best to the children and the team. A willingness to participate in additional hours from time to time to support team and professional development and provide relief support to other three and four year old groups as needed is also essential.
