About the Centre/Service We are a 53 place community centre near vibrant Brunswick St, Fitzroy. We use an emergent curriculum and learning stories to provide both strength and interest based learning across all age groups. We place a strong emphasis on sustainability and consideration of the environment in all of our routines and programs. John St Community Early Childhood Cooperative is currently seeking a like-minded, confident, enthusiastic and energetic Inclusion Support - Certificate III staff member to join our dynamic team. Our successful candidate will have completed a Certificate III Children's Services and have a sound working knowledge of the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Work Days of the Role Monday , Tuesday and Wednesday
Hours of Work of the Role 9.00-3.30 pm
Description We are currently seeking a dedicated educator to support the inclusion of children in our infants room from 6months -2 years, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The position commencing ASAP until 29th July (possibly ongoing). We’re looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic educator to join a highly motivated team, providing fun and educational programs and assist the staff to implement the program for all the children. As a passionate early childhood professional you will be committed to providing the highest quality of care within a supportive and rewarding environment and someone who is passionate about making a difference for our children and within the community.
Qualifications * ACECQA approved early childhood qualification Certificate III, * Qualifications and/or experience in special education; * Current working with children check * National Police Check * Child protection training; * Demonstrated experience working with children with special needs in an early    childhood setting; *excellent verbal and written communication skills *Minimum one year experience working support for the inclusion of children.
