About the Centre/Service
Little Sophia is a beautiful well-established non-denominational Steiner Kindergarten for 3-5 year old children in mixed age groups. We are not-for-profit and located close to the historic Abbotsford Convent Arts precinct in the inner city of Melbourne, Sophia Mundi Steiner School and Collingwood College.
Work Days of the Role

Description
The co-educator has an integral role to play in the Kindergarten program and is a valued team member. Not only is the co-educator a support for the teacher but, due to the nature of the work, they are a role model for the children. A key component of their day is the preparation and care of food and its consumption.
Qualifications
Cert III/Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
Steiner Early Childhood Training
Current First Aid Certificate (including HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting)
Current First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
Food Safety Handling Certificate
Child Protection Training and commitment to current Child Safety Standard
