About the Centre/Service Darren Reserve Kindergarten inc. is a community-run kindergarten. The kinder is entirely owned and operated by a volunteer Committee of Management with the support of our highly skilled and dedicated staff. The kinder offers 4 sessions of combined three and four-year-old kindergarten groups. Our aim is to provide innovative and inspiring programs for children in a stimulating and safe environment.
Work Days of the Role Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
Hours of Work of the Role 3 hours per day - 12 hours a week.
Description The Position Lunchtime Relief Role – Part Time commencing Term 1 2022 Certificate or Diploma Qualified Educator for Monday, Tuesday 11.45-2.45pm & Thursday and Fridays 11:00 - 2:00. Permanent Part Time: 12 hours per week. Skills & Experience Applicants must:
  • Value the importance of working together as a team and value each team member
  • Be able to work under the direction of the Early Childhood Teachers of each group being relieved
  • Assist with the general cleanliness and safety
  • Be aware of and adhere to the Children’s Services regulations and have a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Framework
  • Assist with the preparation of learning experiences and recording children’s participation under the supervision of Educators
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be confident when communicating with children, parents, other educators and management
  • Have experience working with technology (computer and iPad)
  • Attend monthly staff meetings (paid)
  • Attend and contribute to relevant professional development programs recommended by the Educational Leader Nominated and Committee of management (paid)
Qualifications Certificate 3 or Diploma qualified educator.

Additional Requirements If first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma are not current then we are willing to pay for right applicant.
