About us
Moreland Community Child Care Centres (MCCCC) is a not-for-profit, community-based early learning service with three early childhood centres in Brunswick. Together the centres provide a 130 place children’s service. All Centres have been assessed as "exceeding" under the National Quality Standards rating process, and deliver funded kindergarten programs. In 2021, North West Brunswick Kindergarten joined MCCCC, offering sessional 3 year old and 4 year old kindergarten, including an Italian program.

About the role
The Pedagogical Manager supports the Director to provide high quality early learning and care in the local community. The position is responsible for sourcing and honouring best practice teaching and learning for young children, leveraging this to develop and coach the Educational Leader(s) to deliver an outstanding and consistent program across the Centres.
An understanding of adult learning styles and a willingness to coach and guide varying abilities is essential.
The Pedagogy and Program Manager works in partnership with the management team to deliver positive outcomes for children and families through effective pedagogical leadership that builds the capability of leaders, educators and staff.
This is a permanent part time position (3 days per week).
Qualifications
About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced educator to join the management team and lead the pedagogical direction of MCCCC.
You will be have
- Degree in early childhood or relevant degree qualification plus additional professional learning and other relevant qualifications
- Strong knowledge of pedagogical leadership
- Previous experience in a leadership role across multiple early childhood education and care settings
- Demonstrated sector experience in a Leadership role
- Proven ability to build successful working relationships with direct and indirect reports, peers, management and stakeholders
- An understanding of adult learning styles and a willingness to coach and guide varying abilities is essential
- Cert IV Training & Assessment or ability to acquire this
