Description The City of Darebin works in partnership to provide high quality, inclusive and accessible programs that respond to the diverse and changing needs of our community and support the care, education, health and wellbeing of children, young people and their families.The Preschool Field Officer is one role within this partnership approach that assists services and early childhood educators to build on their practices and enhance their capacity and confidence to deliver inclusive early learning experiences for all children with additional needs and their families.Additionally, the Preschool Field Officer Program works alongside other universal and specialist services, including Maternal and Child Health, Family Services, Kindergarten Registration and external services to facilitate kindergarten access, engagement and participation with families throughout the municipality.
Qualifications Degree qualification in early childhood education (ACECQA). Further experience and qualifications in special education, early intervention, or disability preferred.
