About the opportunity We are seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator who is passionate and motivated about making a positive difference in the lives of children and families accessing our community based early learning service in Pascoe Vale. The role available is to work directly with other Educators supporting the development and implementation of a high quality education program in a 3 year old kindergarten setting. Provision of high quality programs, excellent team communication and continuous quality improvement are hallmarks of this position. About you To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority)
  • First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Regulations, including first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma management.
  • Prior experience working in a Kindergarten and/or childhood service providing high quality care and education services for children
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of early childhood learning and development
  • Intermediate level of competency in use of Microsoft Office Suite and internet
