03 Feb31 March deadline approaches for providers on Portable Long Service Leave
From 1 January 2020, the Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme will cover children’s services including licensed children’s services and Approved Providers.
Services and Approved Providers need to apply for registration with the Portable Long Service Authority by 31 March 2020.
New to the scheme?
If you’re an NDIS and Children’s Services employer, your first quarterly return (for the Jan-Mar 2020 period) won’t be due until 30 April 2020.
In the meantime you can:

- Tell your workers about us and the scheme. Our Forms and resources page even has downloadable flyers for your tea room.
Take the time to ensure that all your worker addresses are correct before registering them for the scheme.
