The Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) has implemented some changes to teacher registration processes to assist teachers during the COVID-19 restrictions.
The 2020-21 renewal process will continue as usual although VIT will be relaxing some of the annual requirements. Answers to key questions such as those below can be found on the VIT website
Key questions include:
- for fully registered teachers – what to do about completing 20 days of teaching and 20 hours of professional development
- for provisionally registered teachers – what to do about completing 80 days of teaching and completing applications for full registration.
