16 JunHave your say on how COVID info is disseminated

Posted on 16 Jun 2021

During 2020 and 2021, education and care services received and communicated COVID-19 related health information to staff, educators, families and young children, and continue to do so. A multidisciplinary team of internationally recognised early childhood, health and Indigenous education researchers, in partnership with influential Early Childhood Education (ECE) and health organisations, are investigating how the early childhood sector finds out about, and passes on, this vital health information. They are interested to hear about your experiences in receiving and/or sharing vital health information.

The following surveys have been developed as part of the research project:

(1) for families: https://mquni.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_dgs46FdYCSKh7Ey

(2) for education and care staff working in centres: https://mquni.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9EvokpZvmmUD3Tw

(3) for approved providers and coordinators working in family day care: https://mquni.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9sEXQwS1LeJ9Amq

(4) for educators working in family day care: https://mquni.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3wT3T4envDlS7sy

MacQuarie University ask that you complete the survey (from the list above) that is relevant to you. They would appreciate it if you would also share the ‘families survey’ with families who access your service.

The surveys will take approximately 15-25 minutes to complete.

Your responses will help the health and early childhood sector to work together in the future to ensure that health information is communicated effectively across Australia.

Please note that your choice to participate is yours alone. The survey is anonymous so no one will know if you do or don’t participate. Your choice to participate, or not, will not affect your relationship with your education and care service, staff or educators. Survey responses, including response rates, are only accessible by the Macquarie University team.
