The first part of the  forum featured Lisa Gandolfo, Executive Director – Victorian Child Information Sharing Reform, discussing the three new inter-related child and family violence reforms – The Child Information Sharing Scheme (CISS), the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme (FVISS) and the Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework (MARAM). Lisa provided an update on what Victorian ECEC services need to know and do regarding the reforms and where to go for more information.

The second part of the forum featured Join Bronwen FitzGerald, Executive Director, Kindergarten Reform Implementation, Victorian Department of Education and Training, who provided an update on the funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten roll-out in Victoria with a focus on How to manage change and build a strong workforce for 2022.

Bronwen discussed:

  • tips from previous implementation areas about adapting to the changes
    workforce initiatives, including new resources and financial support
    infrastructure initiatives that create more Three-Year-Old Kindergarten places.
