The Three-Year-Old Kindergarten Teaching Toolkit has been developed to support Victorian early childhood teaching teams with the roll-out of funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten. It will support teaching teams to deliver high-quality educational programs aligned to the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF). Its design is reflective of the learning and development needs of children participating in funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten programs, in both single and multi‑aged groups.

The Teaching Toolkit also includes a Box of Educational Resources and a two-day Professional Learning program. It draws on research and advice from early childhood experts, as well as experienced early childhood leaders and educators, and has a focus on six critical areas for children’s learning and teacher practice. The two-day Professional Learning Program provides training for two staff members from a service to attend the two-day event with some funding to back fill those staff.
