08 SepVIT resources to help you manage teacher registrations
A reminder to all services that Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) annual registration tasks need to be completed by 30 September 2020.
The VIT has provided this poster to display in your service to help remind your teaching staff to complete their registration obligations.
The VIT employer portal allows you to check the current registration status of a teacher you may wish to employ. You can also use it to manage your teachers’ applications – such as a provisionally registered teacher applying to move to (full) registration or to commence an application to fill a vacancy with a grant of permission to teach. To help you keep track of your teacher registration matters, the VIT have produced a short video guide on how to use the employer portal.
