So what is Learning Brought to Life?

A series of free or very affordable, easily accessible and high quality online learning events (live webinars and self-paced modules) designed for early years educators, committees of management, and senior managers.

How can I stay up-to-date about the Learning Brought to Life online program?

You can subscribe to Learning Brought to Life program news updates here.

  • How much does it cost to attend?

Most live events and self-paced modules are free. Some self-paced modules are $20 (members) $30 (non-members).

How can I register?

  • View the Program from the top menu
  • Select Stream (i.e. Educators) and Learning Mode (Live Sessions or Self-paced modules) OR Scroll down to ‘Our Learning Modes’ and select Live sessions or Self-paced modules

Live Sessions

  1. Click on the ‘Find out more’ button on the session you are planning to attend
  2. Complete the registration form by entering the required details
  3. Click ‘Add to Cart’
  4. Complete checkout details to finalise your registration. Please login if you are an ELAA member
  5. Once completed you will receive your tax invoice and registration details via email
  6. Link to join the Zoom webinar will be emailed to you from Zoom

Self-paced modules

  1. Click on the ‘Find out more’ button on the course you are planning to register in
  2. Select either Individual or Group registration
  3. Click ‘Add to Cart, then ‘View cart’ before proceeding to the checkout
  4. Complete checkout details to finalise your registration. If you are an ELAA member please login
  5. Once completed you will receive your tax invoice and registration details via email
  6. Access will be granted once payment is received and you will be able to access your courses via your login for up to four weeks. If paying via direct bank transfer, please allow 5 days for payment to be processed. Purchases via credit card will be granted immediate access.

Group Registrations
For Group registrations please select the number of group members and enter your organisation name as the Group Name. If you wish to enrol yourself please also select ‘Enrol Me’.   Once registration is complete you will be granted ‘Group Leader‘ access and can assign ‘Group Users’ via your login (either by adding individual emails or generating a group code for users to register themselves here)

My service is a member of Early Learning Association Australia (ELAA). Do I receive a discount on my registration?

Yes. ELAA members will receive a discount on all Learning Brought to Life events and modules. Please ensure you are logged in when completing your registration.

Can I share a registration?

No. Sharing of registrations is not permitted. That is, one registration may not be utilised by more than one individual.

Is payment required prior to accessing live online events or self-paced modules?

Yes although many are free. You can either pay via credit card at the time of registration or by Direct Bank transfer.

What is the cancellation policy?

What live online sessions and self-paced modules does Learning Brought to Life offer?

Please refer to the Program page for all live sessions and self-paced modules.

Will I receive an attendance certificate?

Yes. After completing a self-paced module, certificates will be made available to participants via their login. 

If attending an online live session requests for attendance certificates should be emailed to training@elaa.org.au.

Certificates will include session titles and sessions will be referenced to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST).

How do I access Self-Paced Courses?

After you have completed your registration and payment you will receive an email with a link to access the self-paced course. You will also be able to access courses via your login.

For group registrations, Group Leaders will be required to assign Group Users to enable access. 

How do I access Live Sessions?

After you have completed your registration you will be able to join remotely via the Zoom video conference link which will be sent to you via email before the session.

When is the Learning Brought to Life event being held?

Due to government social distancing measures during the coronavirus (COVID 19) emergency, the event has been postponed to March 2021. An exact date will be advised in the near future. The event times will remain 8:45am – 5:15pm

Can I submit an abstract to present?

There will not be a call for papers in the 2021 event. You may submit a poster presentation instead.

Can I submit a poster presentation?

Submissions will open later in 2020 and this will be advertised in ELAA publications and social media.  For more information, please visit Posters.

How much does it cost to attend?

Registration for the event is currently on hold due to the coronavirus (COVID 19) emergency but will re-open in due course. To view the pricing, please go to Purchase Tickets.

ELAA members receive discounted tickets. The registration process will prompt you to login (with your ELAA member website login details) prior to payment.

Student registration will be available for full-time students and require proof of student status.

How can I register?

My service is a member of Early Learning Association Australia (ELAA). Do I receive a discount on my registration?

Yes. If you are an ELAA member, ensure you login to receive membership pricing prior to registering. If you do not have your service’s login details ask an authorised person at your service to register for you.

Can I share a registration?

No. Sharing of registrations is not permitted. That is, one registration may not be utilised by more than one individual.

Do I receive a ticket?

You will receive a ticket via email once payment has been received. You will not require a printout of the ticket as your name badge will be at the registration desk.

Is payment required prior to attending?

Payment must be made in order to receive your tickets. If paying by electronic funds transfer (EFT), payment terms are 14 days and MUST be received prior to the event. Entry will not be granted until payment has been received in full.

Early Bird registrations must be paid in full prior to the Early Bird closing date for the discounted rate to apply. The closing date is currently on hold during the coronavirus (COVID 19) emergency but will be advised in due course.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations received 30 days prior to the event will receive a full refund less 15% admin fee. No refunds will be given after this date; however, the registration may be passed onto another person which can be updated on the form here. All cancellations must be made in writing. If delegates do not attend, full payment of any outstanding registration fee will be required (regardless of attendance). No refunds will be given to ELAA Members who do not login prior to registering.

How can I update a registration?

What time does the registration desk open?

Date TBA in March 2021 – 7:30am

Will there be food provided?

Yes. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided to all delegates across the day. Please fill out any dietary requirements you may have when registering.

Will there be free WIFI available at the venue?

Wi-fi will be available during the event. Details will be provided during the event. 

Is there a dress code?

The dress code for the event is smart casual.

Is childcare available at the venue?

There are no childcare facilities available at the venue. A breastfeeding room is available. Please see an ELAA staff member at the information desk for access. 

Is there a prayer room?

A prayer room is available. Please see an ELAA staff member at the information desk for access.

How do I contact ELAA staff?

The best way to contact ELAA staff during the event is to visit us at the information desk near the entrance. You can also chat to our friendly staff (in purple ELAA shirts) or Crown Conference Centre staff.

Do I need to register for sessions?

Yes, you will need to select which sessions you would like to attend by updating existing tickets or purchasing new. After the event, attendance certificates will be provided with APST links.

Will I be able to access the presentations after the event?

Yes, you will. Presentations will be uploaded onto the event website after the event.

Will I receive an attendance certificate?
