Clarification on eased restrictions for regional Victoria

Following ELAA’s update to members on 8 September 2021 re lock down restrictions being lifted in regional Victoria from 11.59 pm on Thursday 9 September, and the extension of access to Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) to children of single parents (who have no other supervision options), please find attached the latest Statewide Restrictions summary table from the Victorian Government. The section re Education and Childcare clarifies a number of questions including who can access ECEC in regional Victoria. CLICK HERE to view the table of restrictions.

Deadline for accepting Commonwealth Business Continuity Payment offers is 11.59pm Friday 3 September

DESE will send offers of business continuity payments to providers affected by COVID-19 lockdowns on 1 September. Providers must accept this offer by 11.59pm this Friday 3 September for payments to be made in the week starting Monday 6 September. (more…)
