Vaccinations webinar for ECEC workers

Australian Government announces extra financial assistance for child care services – further information to come

Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, and Federal Minister for Education and Youth, Alan Tudge, have today announced additional financial support for child care services operating in Commonwealth declared COVID-19 hotspots. Long Day Care and Family Day Care services will be eligible for payments of 25 per cent of their pre-lockdown revenue. (more…)

All Vic ECEC  services to close to most children plus increased regional restrictions

Updated – Increased Vic COVID-19 restrictions: worker permits & gap fee waivers

On Monday 16 August the Premier of Victoria announced further restrictions in metropolitan Melbourne as part of the plan to manage the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. From 11.59pm, Tuesday 17 August permits are needed for the authorised workforce including early childhood education and care workforce. (more…)
