Vic Portable Long Service Leave quarterly returns due 31 July

Make sure your workplace is displaying the new WorkSafe Vic poster

WorkSafe Victoria have updated the “If you are injured at work poster” to include information about mental injury support. This new poster is available in multiple languages and employers must display the latest version in their workplaces.

WorkSafe update on mental injury Provisional Payments

Victorian workers can now access early treatment and support for up to 13 weeks, while they await the outcome of their mental injury claim. This support is called provisional payments. (more…)

New Child Safe Standards from July 2022

The Victorian Government has announced eleven new Child Safe Standards (Standards) will replace Victoria’s current seven standards and principles. The Standards are changing to provide more consistency with Standards in the rest of Australia and to strengthen protection from child abuse. Eligible ECEC staff encouraged to register and get vaccinated

More staff working in the early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector are now eligible for priority COVID-19 vaccination. This extension relates to staff who interact with children living with a specified underlying medical condition or significant disability.
