ELAA will be closed on the Grand Final and Melbourne Cup holidays

Please note that ELAA will be closed on Friday 23rd October for the Grand Final Holiday, and Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd November for the Melbourne Cup. Don’t miss our next online forum: 3-year-old funded kindergarten

The Victorian Government is investing almost $5 billion over ten years so that children across the state will have access to two years of funded kindergarten programs.

Vic DET resources re transition to school and second year of kindergarten

One impact of COVID-19 is that the transition experience for children going from kindergarten to primary school at the start of 2021 is going to be different from most years. Free online seminar for parents and educators re transition for children with additional learning needs

The ABCs of Inclusive Education is a free online seminar (funded through the NDIA) for parents and educators of children with additional learning needs who are transitioning from:

  • kinder to primary
  • primary to secondary

This 2-hour online information session will enable parents and educators to consider what options best suit a child’s additional needs, the rights of parents and students, and how best to advocate for what your child needs. (more…)
