Children’s Book Council Book of the Year Night of the Notables

The Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) is presenting a great online event for lovers of children’s books. The Night of the Notables celebrates  the announcement of the 2021 CBCA Book of the Year Notables List for each of the Award categories (including early childhood books) and includes special guest speakers Jane Godwin, Leigh Hobbs and Bren MacDibble.

Towards a Gender Equal Recovery – new Gen Vic Budget Submisison

GEN VIC has published its Victorian State Budget Submission for the financial year 2021/2022 – Towards a Gender Equal Recovery. The submission has been brought together on behalf of 42 gender equality organisations with expertise in economics, job services and placement, health, the arts, tourism, sport, social welfare and housing.
