VECTEA Access Period & Ballot

Due to some minor procedural issues regarding some employers not correctly distributing a Notice of Employee Representational Rights, the VECTEA employee access period and subsequent ballot will be delayed for a short period. We anticipate providing further advice by no later than Friday 19 February and thank you for your understanding.

Snap lock down announced in Victoria from 11.59pm tonight – Childcare and kindergartens to remain open

The Victorian Government has announced the state will enter a five-day snap lock down from 11:59pm tonight until 11:59pm on Wednesday 17 February due to the growing ‘Holiday Inn’ cluster in Melbourne.  The Premier has advised that while school students will need to learn from home (unless they need onsite supervision as the children of essential workers) childcare and kindergarten services will remain open. Not-for-profit children’s services – participating in the TICCS survey will help our sector

Australian Community Children’s Services is currently seeking NFP early children’s services to complete the Trends in community children’s services survey for  wave 6. The survey is currently open to NFP services across Australia for wave 6 and requires more services to complete the survey to make the data valid. (more…)

New videos from DESE to help childcare providers manage crisis situations
