PLSA and the JobKeeper payment scheme

Multilingual COVID-19 resources

The Victorian Refugee Health Network has some excellent information resources in multiple languages re COVID-19. Resources cover Stage 3 restrictions, worker support payments, getting tested, using public transport, returning to school, mental health and more.

Service providers may find this site very useful for communication re COVID-19 related policies and practices to non-English speaking families.

Child Care Subsidy rates update

CCS family income thresholds, the annual cap and the hourly rate caps are adjusted at the start of each financial year based on the Consumer Price Index. New raisingchildren network resources on child sexual safety

Australian Government funded parenting website, raisingchildren.net.au, has launched a range of free resources for parents and professionals working with parents on child sexual safety.

The ten new articles are designed to help keep children safe by providing information on topics including how to talk to children and teens about sexual abuse, recognise signs of grooming, and access help lines and services. (more…)
