Share the Dignity and help women and girls in need this Christmas

ELAA Preferred Partner, Bunnings, are proud to be supporting Share the Dignity’s “It’s in the Bag” campaign for the third year at all Bunnings stores, Trade Centres and Distribution Centres across Australia.  The campaign is a collection drive for handbags filled with essential items (things that we take for granted but are luxuries for some) which are provided as Christmas gifts for women and girls in need. Review of Inclusion Support Program Guidelines

The Inclusion Support Program (ISP) is a key part of the Child Care Safety Net. It assists early childhood education and care services to improve their capacity and capability to provide quality inclusive practices, address participation barriers and include children with additional needs alongside their typically developing peers. VCOSS launches Climate of Fairness report

The Victorian Council of Social Service (VCOSS) has launched a major report about climate change called A Climate of Fairness.

This report to the Victorian Government underlines VCOSS’ position that the response to climate change must be a fair one i.e. that it can’t be allowed to hurt people who are already poor, sick or socially isolated. (more…)

New free hearing App makes it easier to detect issues in preschool children

An estimated 10% of schoolchildren suffer from hearing loss which left undetected can lead to speech, learning, and behavioural problems. The Sound Scouts hearing check App is FREE for all school-aged children across Australia thanks to funding from the Australian Government’s Department of Health. (more…)
