ELAA CEO update 17 February 2021

Dear members and friends

I hope you, your families and colleagues are all happy, healthy and well. The ‘circuit breaker’ lock down in Victoria has no doubt posed some challenges to Early Childhood Education and Care Providers and their staff over this past week. Following the Victorian Premier’s announcement this morning, most of the ‘Circuit Breaker’ restrictions will cease as of 11.59pm this evening (Wed 17 Feb) with some exceptions (more…)

Children’s Book Council Book of the Year Night of the Notables

The Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) is presenting a great online event for lovers of children’s books. Towards a Gender Equal Recovery – new Gen Vic Budget Submisison

GEN VIC has published its Victorian State Budget Submission for the financial year 2021/2022 – Towards a Gender Equal Recovery. The submission has been brought together on behalf of 42 gender equality organisations with expertise in economics, job services and placement, health, the arts, tourism, sport, social welfare and housing.
