Early and Middle Childhood Vic Policy Debate

In the lead up to the Victorian Election on November 24, Early Learning Association Australia (ELAA), Community Child Care Association (CCC) and Early Childhood Australia (Victoria Branch) have invited the ALP, Liberal and Greens spokespeople on early childhood education and care to present their case for delivering the early years services and support that Victorian families, service providers, and educators need.

The case for for two years of funded preschool – ELAA releases position paper

ELAA has released a Position Paper outlining the case for universal access to two years (3-year-old and 4-year-old) of funded preschool.

Entitled A fair and smart Australia: The case for three-year-old preschool, the position paper brings together the evidence on the positive outcomes that an additional year of preschool can bring to children, communities and the nation.
