05 SepEarly Childhood Provisionally Registered Teacher (PRT) Grants Program: Applications are now open
Applications are now open for Round 1 of the 2024-2025 Early Childhood Provisionally Registered Teacher (PRT) Grants Program. The PRT Grants Program helps approved providers support PRTs to move to full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
Approved providers of early childhood services in Victoria can apply for funding of $2,872 (excluding GST) per eligible PRT.

How to apply
Applications must be submitted through the PRT Grants Program Portal.
If you haven’t used the portal before, you will need to create an account before you will be able to complete the application process. Please refer to the PRT Grants Program Portal User Guide for helpful instructions.
Applications will close at 5 pm (AEST) on Friday 20 September 2024.
Updated program guidelines and terms and conditions
Please review the updated program guidelines and terms and conditions (available on the program webpage) before applying for funding. They now include a prioritisation framework and a policy outlining when the department will recoup funding from grant recipients.
