24 AprBest Start, Best Life Evening Leadership Series

Posted on 24 Apr 2025

The Best Start, Best Life Evening Leadership Series supports Victoria’s early childhood service and organisational leaders in their continued implementation of the Best Start, Best Life reforms.

The next event in the series, Leading Change Together, will take place on Thursday 1 May 2025 at Melbourne Museum in Carlton and will also be live-streamed for attendees across Victoria.

The program will feature:

  • a live keynote address from Professor Joce Nuttall, who has over 40 years of experience as a leader, educator and researcher in early childhood settings
  • a panel of service leaders who will share practical insights and strategies on what works in delivering change.

As Four-Year-Old Kindergarten transitions to Pre-Prep and Three-Year-Old Kindergarten continues to roll out across Victoria, some degree of change will be required at every service, whatever its size or type.

Professor Nuttall helped develop the Change Management Toolkit, which assists early childhood leaders to plan and implement change that is right for their service and community in a way that supports and motivates their staff and provides the best outcomes for children.

Hear Professor Nuttall introduce the Toolkit in this short webinar.

This event is open to any leader or aspiring leader in the early childhood education and care sector across Victoria, including approved providers, service managers and administrators, peak bodies, Early Years Managers and committees of management.
