07 NovEducators: Bite-sized PD modules on family conversations & digital teaching tools now available

Step into any early education setting in Victoria and you will most likely witness a hub of passionate early childhood educators who are dedicated to shaping the future of our youngest learners. As the demands on educators increase, finding the time to invest high quality professional development that is pocket friendly can feel like a herculean task.

In the last 10 months, the SAEW Project has offered in-depth eLearning modules, delivering free impactful specialised training to almost 700 educators. After consultation with SAEW participants, the platform now offers a second learning pathway with the addition of 20 short course Focused Learning modules across six topics.

The short courses, taking just 5-10 minutes to complete, are designed for immediate application, making it easy to fit into even the busiest of schedules. This format is a direct response to feedback from educators, who reported that they feel “time-poor” when pursuing professional development.
