28 MarFree professional development – A new era in ECEC training
The Skilling an Adaptable Early Childhood Education and Care Workfare (SAEW) Project has launched with a surge of excitement through the ECEC sector. Since opening in late February, over 230 participants have enrolled to undertake a range of eLearning modules covering teaching pedagogy, personal development, and regulatory frameworks.
In addition to the eLearning modules, educators accessed LIVE webinars facilitated through the SAEW Community Hub. Starting with the monthly Peer Support meeting, educators were able to connect with peers to ask questions about practice and share their experiences. Participants also register to attend Training Workshops, led by Early Childhood experts from Gowrie Victoria. The first session was held in late March, titled “Putting Theory into Practice” delved into practical real-world strategies to support participants with tools to excel in their EC career.
With a line-up of engaging activities and guest speakers scheduled over the coming months, the SAEW project is poised to foster a vibrant community of EC professionals.
If you are an Early Childhood educator in your first 12 months of work, this free professional development training tailored for you.
