With 2025 approaching, many of us are preparing for a new year of kindergarten. With Pre-Prep starting in 6 LGAs, Three-Year-Old Kindergarten continuing to roll out and Free Kinder available, 2025 will be an exciting year for early childhood education in Victoria.
Some new resources have been released to help service leaders, teachers and educators stay up to date with the Best Start, Best Life reforms and communicate with families about their programs in 2025.
The Best Start, Best Life Kindergarten Sector Guide includes:
- information about key initiatives of the reforms, such as Three-Year-Old Kindergarten, Pre-Prep and Free Kinder
- information about programs and supports available so children can access and meaningfully participate in kindergarten programs
- links to further information and resources that can be shared with families, including translated materials.
The 2025 Start of Year Communications Pack includes:
- sample newsletter content to mark the start of the new year
- social media tiles and sample posts
- talking points for conversations with families
- links to further information and resources.
