ELAA recently attended the launch of a Trauma Informed Practice Guide developed by the Alannah & Madeline Foundation, Gowrie Victoria, and Monash University’s Health and Social Care Unit.
This practical guide contains comprehensive advice, using genuine case studies, to explore how Early Childhood Educators can improve their trauma informed practice to help children thrive.
The pilot practice guide is now available for Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) services free of charge and can be accessed by CLICKING HERE .
The pilot practice guide has been developed specifically for use in Victorian settings, however educators in other Australian states are welcome to explore how the information can be adapted to suit their needs. ELAA encourages our members to download this free guide.
