Jump aboard Pirate Day 2022 and turn the tide on childhood brain cancer on Friday 13 May

Pirate Day is an annual national day of dressing up to raise awareness and vital funds for childhood brain cancer research. Since Pirate Day started in 2015, more than $475,000 has been raised to help to fund important research and bring hope.

Funds raised in 2022 will be funneled to Dr Dannielle Upton who is researching treatment development for the most aggressive of all childhood cancers, diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG).  DIPG offers no hope of survival. It is considered incurable. Researcher Dr Dannielle Upton and her colleagues hope to change that.

The Kids’ Cancer Project is setting sail on our Pirate Day on Friday 13 May 2022. But you can jump aboard yours any time in May that suits your crew.

Register here  and the Pirate Day team will support you with educational resources  to help you and your community have a swashbuckling day!
