The Managing Performance Related Concerns (MPRC) Resource guides employers in managing issues of underperformance and misconduct in the workplace, and builds understanding industrial relations obligations.
This resource was first developed by the Early Learning Association Australia (ELAA) in 2019, in partnership with the Department of Education and Training (DET), to assist the early childhood sector in building its capacity to manage employee issues and concerns. This resource has now been expanded and revised in 2022.
The MPRC Resource is a partner resource to the Employee Management and Development (EM&D) Resource, which focuses on establishing a positive performance evaluation and development system at the first instance.
The MPRC resource aims to enable employers to effectively manage situations in which the underperformance is of a serious nature or there is evidence of misconduct.
