ELAA’s dedicated team encompasses high level sector expertise to meet the needs of our members. Our team is devoted to ensuring our content and resources are current and up-to-date. Many of our team members come from the Early Childhood Education and Care sector and use their experience and expertise to provide relatable and knowledgeable information and advice.
Advocacy, Policy & Communications
Anouk is a Marketing Specialist Advisor at ELAA, bringing experience in marketing, communications, digital strategy and creative development across the not-for-profit, education, community and private sectors. Anouk combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to developing meaningful and engaging campaigns and communications that connect with diverse audiences. At ELAA, Anouk supports the organisation’s marketing and communications strategy, helping to build awareness of ELAA’s work, strengthen member engagement and retention, and attract new members across the broader early childhood education and care sector.
Ashlea Hogg is Senior Advisor, Policy & Engagement at ELAA, bringing together her passion for policy, stakeholder engagement and strengthening outcomes across the early learning sector. Her career reflects a commitment to connecting strategic communications with meaningful sector advocacy and engagement. With extensive experience in early childhood education and care, Ashlea has developed expertise in communications, stakeholder engagement, advocacy and sector development. She has worked closely with educators, service providers, policymakers and sector leaders to support initiatives that strengthen and promote high-quality early learning. Earlier in her career, Ashlea built a strong foundation in member and client engagement, developing a relationship-centred approach to communications and stakeholder management that continues to inform her work today. Ashlea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Media and Communications from the University of Queensland and a Postgraduate Certificate in Business (Public Relations) from Queensland University of Technology.
Halina McNally is Senior Research Policy Implementation Lead- Best Start Best Life. She is an early childhood professional with more than 20 years’ experience across education, early childhood intervention, research and implementation. Her career has spanned early childhood teaching, intervention, research and implementation, giving her a strong understanding of what supports meaningful change in early childhood settings. Halina is passionate about connecting research, policy and practice to support meaningful and sustainable change across the early childhood sector.
