Using positive relationships and the EYLF to plan for and support children whose behaviour is affected by challenging life circumstances
20 October, 2017 @ 9:30 am - 2:30 pm UTC+10
Drawing on the expertise of professionals from the Children’s Protection Society, this session aims to improve the skills and knowledge of teachers and educators working with children whose behaviour is affected by challenging life experiences and circumstances.
Looking at the educator team and strategies to support one another in a reflective planning cycle, we will explore the use of the EYLF to effectively plan for and support all children whose behaviour is affected by challenging life circumstances. The session will also unpack the importance of relationships and emotionally and physically safe environments for vulnerable children.
