ELAA works effectively with the State, Federal, local government and regulatory bodies to represent the interests of parents and early learning service providers. Our vision is “excellence in early learning for every child”. We give our members a collective voice and promote our views to policy makers and regulators through a mix of channels.
ELAA Full and Subscriber members can contact our Service Delivery Team for up-to-date information, advice and support on issues related to governance practices, management responsibilities, industrial relations, staff management (HR), Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and more.
Our experienced ELAA Service Delivery Team together with our pool of highly qualified consultants can assist early childhood service providers with tailored projects and training through our consultancy services (e.g.: OHS training).
Consultancy requests will incur an initial fee to scope the project of $150 which is refundable if the project proceeds. Confirmed consultancy projects will then be charged at a rate of $165 + GST per hour. Training costs may vary. Please contact ELAA to discuss your needs.
ELAA members receive discounted rates to attend any of our professional learning and development seminars and workshops. The ELAA professional learning and development program is presented by highly respected and experienced presenters. The program provides an opportunity for all staff in the early childhood sector to network with peers and incorporates a range of contemporary topics to assist them to improve their knowledge and practices to meet the challenges of a changing sector. ELAA provides resources you need to ensure you are equipped with the tools to deliver excellence in early learning.
- Early Childhood Management Manual– provides comprehensive information and over 120 templates (which can be adapted and customized to meet individual needs) to assist early childhood service providers to operate with good governance and meet their legal obligations as an incorporated associations, approved provider, funded agency and employer. ELAA members can purchase the manual at a member rate.
- Policyworks NQF manual – is an essential tool for early childhood service providers to assist them in meeting legislative, regulatory and funding requirements. These downloadable templates are based on the National Quality Standard and include both mandated and best practice template policies which services can tailor to meet their needs. ELAA members can purchase the manual at a member rate.
ELAA provides the opportunity for members of Early Years Management services to come together to inform advocacy, strategic directions, policy development and implementation. There are three groups that Early Years Manager members can participate; the CEO Group, Early Years Management Reference Group and the Early Years Management Rural Sub-group.
The ELAA Job Board is a service that connects early learning sector employers and job seekers. It is an excellent resource that can be used by employers to advertise jobs to fill current vacancies and alert employees to jobs ahead of time. The Job Board is a free service for ELAA members and is proudly sponsored by our Preferred Partner, McArthur.
