Individual Learning Plans for Children in Out-of Home Care

Individual Learning Plans for Children in Out-of-Home Care provides an overview of what early childhood educators need to consider when developing individual learning plans for children placed in out-of-home care (OoHC). The advice is aligned with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and supports the Early Childhood Agreement for Children in Out-of-Home Care (the Agreement). The advice provides the context of individual  learning plans and other support planning processes and considers the role of trauma. It also covers additional considerations for children in OoHC that educators should factor into their usual planning according to the VEYLDF planning cycle.
