08 FebResponding to challenging behaviour in ECEC

Posted on 08 Feb 2023

Evidence for Learning (E4L) has released a series of new resources to support early childhood educators to respond to challenging behaviours. These resources are based on the latest Australian and international research evidence on strategies for educators in ECEC settings working with 2–5-year-old children.

There are three tip sheets which include practical guidance and strategies for educators:

  1. ‘Set the scene to support behaviour’
  1.  ‘Respond in the moment’
  1.  ‘Reset the scene to revisit and reflect’.

For those who want to explore the latest research evidence, there’s a systematic review report and a two-page insights summary.  All the resources can be accessed by CLICKING HERE.

If you’re interested in exploring the research and the practical strategies and tips with researchers and practitioners, join the free E4L webinar on 22 February at 5pm AEDT.
