Description

About the role

We are seeking an experienced early childhood teacher to join our team as a Pedagogical Mentor and SRF officer. This is an ongoing role of 18 hours per week, with some flexibility regarding times over 5 days per week. Ideally suited to an experienced teacher, who has mentored other teachers and has a knowledge of School Readiness Funding. You must be self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong technical and organisational skills and the ability to be part of a collaborative, dynamic team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Reconciling SRF funding, assist in writing plans and ensuring the plans are adhered to.
  • Oversee the implementation of policies and programs and in conjunction with the Leader of Pedagogy and Nominated Supervisor at each service.
  • Ensure that services are operating in compliance with the National Legislation and are of high quality.
  • Developing, supporting, supervising and motivating staff with an emphasis on team building
Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Advanced competency in Microsoft Office, in particular, Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data inputting with high levels of accuracy.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidentiality, sensitivity, and integrity across all aspects of the role.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and be comfortable working in a changing and fast paced working environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with initiative & flexibility, as well as cooperatively as part of a team and manage own workload.
