The ELAA Board and staff are delighted to invite members, parent volunteers and colleagues from across the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector to the 2023 ELAA Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be held via Zoom 

Our 2023 AGM will be a celebration of ELAA’s 32nd Anniversary with the theme ‘Moving Forward Together’.  The AGM will be held via Zoom at 6.30pm, and feature a guest speaker (Catharine Hydon) and prize giveaways.

Moving Forward Together: Realising our Vision for Children  

At a time of rapid change and new possibilities, early childhood service leaders are looking to identify ways to deliver the best learning opportunities to our young children.  While there is no doubt we have the match fitness, courage and understanding to take this on, we can only do it if we find collaborative ways to move forward together – aware of the expectations, prepared to innovate being constantly grounded in practical solutions.   

In this sprint presentation, Catharine will share some of the ways leaders can work together to share the task of moving forward to realise the rights and best interests of children and their families 

ELAA will also announce the winner of the 2023 anzuk Education Early Childhood Volunteer of the Year Award during the AGM. Nominate someone who has made a real difference to your ECEC community. Your volunteer may have turned a ‘great idea’ into a reality, provided specialist skills, or simply put in countless hours to help get things done either in the office, by supporting educators or getting their hands dirty in the yard. Whatever their contribution, make sure your best volunteers are recognised by by filling out a nomination form by  Thursday, 26 October 2023.
