About the Centre/Service Hurlingham Preschool is a standalone, community run 3 and 4 year old government funded kindergarten. We have two rooms and a large outdoor play space looking out onto Hurlingham Park. We operate under the Victorian school holiday terms so are not open in the school holidays. Each room operates with an ECT and a certificate 3 qualified assistant. Our 4 year old classes have 22 children and our 3 year old classes 20 children.

Work Days of the Role To start as soon as you can! - Tuesdays & Thursdays & possibly Fridays

Hours of Work of the Role 7.5 hour day (1 hour Paid Lunch Break)

Description This role is to start as soon as you can ! The role is as ECT in the 3 year old Bilby Group with a certificate 3 assistant. There are 20 children in this group. Children arrive at 8.30am and go home at 1.30pm. The role is also to be the ECT in our extended care program, Platypus Group. This program is for only 4 year old children. It starts at 1.30pm and the children go home at 4.00pm. At the moment there are 13 children enrolled in this program. You would be responsible for the planning and reflections to families and be part of an experienced and supportive teaching team.

Qualifications Victorian Institute of teaching (VIT) Qualified Early childhood teacher.

Additional Requirements We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, team orientated teacher to join in the fun at Hurlingham Preschool.
