Join ELAA for an interactive focus group in sharing your experiences, insights, and ideas to shape the future of Early Childhood Education and Care, including workforce planning and retention strategies. 

This focus group will gather insights on the current challenges encountered by Early Childhood Teachers and Educators within the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector regarding staff retention and workforce planning. It will involve exploring factors that contribute to staff turnover, understand the needs and aspiration of staff members, and identify barriers to effective workforce planning. The aim of the Focus Group is to identify potential solutions, strategies, tools, and resources that have been either tested or proposed to address staff retention and workforce planning challenges. 

ABOUT THE PRESENTER 

Presenter: Loredana Dowdle – Specialist – Member Resources Project, ELAA 

With over 25 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC), Loredana has worked with government agencies, community groups, early childhood professionals, and specialist services enabling her to facilitate productive discussions that address key issues and drive quality outcomes across the sector.
