About the Centre/Service indi Woraback Children's Centre is a non-for-profit, parent-run committee located within Victoria University, St. Albans Campus. We hold an Exceeding rating to which we received in November 2022. Jindi is a long-day-care setting with Kindergarten embedded within the program, providing education and care to children 6 weeks to 5 years old. Description We are seeking an Assistant Chef who is passionate about preparing and providing high quality, nutritious meals and snacks for children, whilst keeping a high standard of health, hygiene and safety. We are looking for someone who is wanting to try new things, with a willingness to learn, whilst being supported by our qualified chef. You will be supporting our chef with food prep between the hours of 8:00am - 2:00pm, with the exception of relieving our chef on their rostered days off/leave (full day of 7:00 - 3:30pm). Ideally we are looking for someone who has had experience working within the childcare or aged care setting. If not, someone who has had experience in the food-prep/catering side of the food industry.
